Chase Chapter 4 - Gorillaz

Noodle woke up in her room and looked around "hmm" she muttered to herself. She hadn't slept well. She couldn't stop thinking about what happened to 2-D. "I'll ask him today!" Noodle said with new determination. Meanwhile, 2-D woke up after having a nightmare "God! never wanna have tha' nigh'mare again!" 2-D said looking out the port hole window. A bead of sweat ran down his face and then there was a knock at the door "Who is it??" 2-D said cautiously.

"Noodle" she replied from the other side of the door. 2-D looked unconvinced "Which one Cyborg or human??" 2-D said focusing on the door. "What?? It's the human Noodle! Now can I come in??" Noodle said as she got more annoyed at his strange behaviour. "Yea y' can come in" 2-D said still unsure of who was on the other side of the door. When Noodle came in she saw that 2-D was still in his boxers "Uhhh.." Noodle said blushing. 2-D was relieved to see that it was the normal Noodle but was confused about what Noodle was blushing about "Wha'??" 2-D said and then realised "Ohh..." He said and quickly got a shirt and some jeans on "Sorry" he said blushing and smiling.

"That's uh... fine" Noodle said still blushing. "Ummm... can I.." Noodle said nervously. 2-D looked confused "Ask you .. something??" Noodle said fidgeting. "Uhh.. sure.." 2-D said looking confused but he shut the door to make sure they had privacy. "Umm... What happened.. yesterday morning??" Noodle said looking at 2-D. 2-D cringed at the question "Umm... not much.. why??" 2-D said looking at anything but Noodle. Noodle was now concerned "Nothing? look at the cuts and wounds you have" Noodle said. 2-D looked to Noodle "Damn I can't lie to her" he thought to himself. "I... jus' go' into a lil' figh' wiv the Cyborg nothin' that bad" 2-D said smiling and patting Noodle on the head. Noodle looked at 2-D and hugged him "Thanks for letting me know 2-D... I was so worried.." Noodle said smiling at him.

"Ohh... maybe it's better to just let her think that for now.." 2-D thought as he smiled back at Noodle. Noodle wrapped her arms around his neck "It really means a lot to me.." Noodle said. "Glad t' see y' feelin' better" 2-D said as he wrapped his arms round her waist. Their faces were inches away once again "Let's no' let this chance slip Luv.." 2-D said and kissed her. "Oh my god!" Noodle thought to herself. Before Noodle knew it the kiss was over. "Umm... I...love y' Noodle.." 2-D said blushing and looking around the room nervously. Noodle smiled" I love you too 2-D!" she said happily and hugged him. 2-D smiled. They were both relieved and happy that they knew they cared for one another.

Little did the happy couple know that the Cyborg had heard everything from the other side of the wall "Caught you.." the Cyborg whispered to herself smirking as she walked off to go check the rest of Plastic Beach and plot how she could manipulate the couple to make sure they behaved. "Because if they don't... Master Murdoc will find out..." the Cyborg muttered to herself as she cackled on her way outside the house.
